Hypoenergetic and strongly hypoenergetic trees

چکیده
The energy E(G) of a graph G is defined as the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of G. An n-vertex graph is said to be hypoenergetic if E(G) < n and strongly hypoenergetic if E(G) < n−1. In this paper, we consider hypoenergetic and strongly hypoenergetic trees. For any given n, the existence of both hypoenergetic and strongly hypoenergetic trees of order n is completely characterized.

Effect of Hypoenergetic Diet Combined with Consumption of Coconut Flour in Overweight Women.
INTRODUCTION the prevalence of obesity has increased, especially among women. AIM the aim of this study was to assess the effect of a hypoenergetic diet combined with coconut flour on anthropometric and biochemical data and the quality of the diet. METHODS we carried out a crossover clinical trial involving a step with hypoenergetic diet only and another with the diet associated with coconu...
متن کاملModulation of endothelial and smooth muscle function by bed rest and hypoenergetic, low-fat nutrition.
Prolonged microgravity alters the regulation of the peripheral vasculature. The influence of reduced food intake, as often observed in astronauts, on vascular function is unclear. In a randomized, four-phase, crossover study, the effect of simulated microgravity (13 days of bed rest), energetic restriction (-25%, fat reduced), and their combination on endothelium-dependent and -independent vaso...
متن کاملBetaine supplementation decreases plasma homocysteine concentrations but does not affect body weight, body composition, or resting energy expenditure in human subjects.
BACKGROUND Betaine (trimethylglycine) is found in several tissues in humans. It is involved in homocysteine metabolism as an alternative methyl donor and is used in the treatment of homocystinuria in humans. In pigs, betaine decreases the amount of adipose tissue. OBJECTIVE The aim of the study was to examine the effect of betaine supplementation on body weight, body composition, plasma homoc...
متن کاملEffects of Short-Term Carbohydrate Restrictive and Conventional Hypoenergetic Diets and Resistance Training on Strength Gains and Muscle Thickness.
Hypoenergetic diets and resistance training (RT) have been suggested to be important components of weight loss strategy programs; however, there is little evidence as to the chronic effects of different macronutrient compositions on strength performance and muscle mass with RT. The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of carbohydrate restrictive (CRD) and conventional (CONV) diets c...
